About Phil

Phil is a Registered Liquidator and Chartered Accountant with 20 years of formal insolvency experience, focused on SME and mid-market corporate clients. His track record includes large and complex receiverships, liquidations and administrations, and he has extensive experience trading on businesses to preserve value and maximise returns to creditors.

Phil has been appointed across a broad range of industries, including pharmacies, disability services, retail, manufacturing, mining services, property and construction, education, and technology and telecommunications. His expertise in determining the Better Outcome Test, together with his background in the debt recovery department of a Big Four bank, gives him a practical understanding of how secured lenders and other stakeholders weigh the options available to a business in distress.
