Due to continued growth, Olvera Advisors has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven Senior Analyst to join our team.

This role will involve working on formal corporate insolvency engagements with a specific focus on assisting secured creditor clients recover loans in default from borrowers in the property and construction industry. There will also be opportunity to assist our advisory team provide specialised advice to government clients on business growth and operational efficiencies.

The role will provide a hands-on opportunity and supported career where progression is based on ability and knowledge.

Overview of Senior Analyst Role

  • Preparation of reports to creditors, government departments, and other stakeholders
  • Conduct investigation into the insolvent entities’ financials
  • Analyse financial statements and accounting records
  • Financial modelling
  • Assist with trade on management including the budget preparation and cashflow forecasts
  • Assist with strategic advice to government clients regarding business growth and improvement of operational efficiencies
  • Compliance with regulatory requirements


About you

  • CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent) or near completion
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (i.e., degree in commerce/economics and/or law, majors/minors in accounting or finance)
  • 2+ years relevant experience in formal corporate insolvency with a strong track record in property receiverships and/or secured creditor appointments
  • Positive, cooperative and inclusive attitude
  • Excellent communicator and well-honed interpersonal skills with an ability to build on relationships with team members, clients and stakeholders
  • Strong initiative and business acumen
  • Strong financial modelling skills
  • Working knowledge of Xero, MYOB, Core IPS, and Quickbooks.
