About the job

This position is responsible for all Treasury functions for all appointments. The incumbent will be required to always maintain professionalism and confidentiality.

Probationary Period: 6 months
Reports to: Treasury Manager

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for maintenance of electronic cashbooks through Core IPS Insolvency program, both companies and personal.
  • Preparation of payments including payroll. Dealing with superannuation and STP reporting.
  • Preparation of BAS and PAYG returns for a large number of insolvent entities
  • Liaising with the major banks regarding banking facilities – opening and closing bank accounts.
  • Maintenance of the ATO Business portal for a large number of insolvent entities, dealing with ATO in respect of refunds and tax payable.
  • Maintenance of tasks to comply with statutory lodgements for a large number of insolvent entities.
  • Maintenance of electronic cashbooks through Core IPS Insolvency, including bank reconciliations.
  • Preparation of Statutory Reports for a large number of insolvent entities for lodgement with ASIC.
  • Preparation of invoices through Core IPS and Xero.

Qualifications

  • Qualifications in Accounting or Bookkeeping and/or relevant experience

  • Experience in BAS preparation
  • Bookkeeping
