Salary range: $70-75k Per annum

Job Description:
As an Analyst at Olvera Advisors, you will play a critical role in supporting our team with various insolvency and restructuring assignments. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Preparation of financial forecasts and budgets for clients as required.
- Preparing financial information for the negotiation of client debts and arrangements.
- Undertaking financial assessments as required.
- Assisting with the identification of cost reduction programs and turnaround strategies.
- Assisting in financial investigations, and the identification and collection of company assets including debtors.
- Liaising with multiple stakeholders including directors of clients, creditors, banks, ATO, ASIC, AFSA, and other government bodies.
- Lodgement of reporting obligations and required forms with ASIC or AFSA.
- Lodgement of Business Activity Statements/PAYG obligations for clients.
- Investigation of antecedent transactions and management of preference claims, assistance in the management of insolvent trading claims, and preparation for litigation funding claims for the support of recovery of transactions.
- Preparation of reports and presentations in accordance with safe harbour regimes and restructuring clients.
Education Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (i.e., a degree in commerce/economics and/or law, majors/minors in accounting or finance).
Skills & Experience Requirements:
- Strong technical accounting skills including financial modelling experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong exposure to corporate accounting and professional services.
- Strong ability to write accurate reports, procedures, recommendations, and other analytical documents.
- Aptitude to identify, scope, and solve problems.
- Ability to build client relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with emotional intelligence to build relationships with team members, clients, and key stakeholders.
