Sustainability
The world we live in is changing, and Australia has been behind the pack when it comes to sustainability.
The Australian government’s Climate Act 2022 came into effect on 14 September 2022 and provides a framework to implement Australia’s net zero commitments.
Therefore, if we are to remain competitive that now means changing the way we do business, and for clients exporting to the EU that means complying with the “EU Green Deal”. More importantly it’s re-envisioning the supply chain to adapt to the changing needs of our customers to deliver better results and a better future for the planet.
To do this Olvera understands that visibility and accountability on source origin and manufacture is the only way to build stakeholder trust, while the best way to reduce waste is not to create it at all.
Olvera’s sustainability programmes focus:
- Identifying and measuring carbon footprint;
- End to end supplier procurement strategies; and
- Employee sustainability culture programmes.

Olvera Sustainability (“Drop”) works with clients to identify and plan a programme to net zero through supplier connectivity and inclusion.
