She has credentials as a Registered Liquidator and a Bankruptcy Trustee and a strong track record working with businesses, lenders and stakeholders to undertake formal appointments conduct reviews, investigative assignments and business reconstruction engagements.

With over 20 years industry experience, Kate has been involved in appointments across a broad range of industries including financial services, childcare, tourism and hospitality, transport, manufacturing, property and construction and retail. She has an excellent commercial understanding of key business drivers and ratios which she applies to improve short term business performance and longer term financial viability.

Hugh draws on his nearly 30 years of professional practice experience, in both the accounting and legal sectors, to provide time-effective solutions to complex matters.

His unique multi-disciplinary background, coupled with his focus on strategic thinking, management expertise and strong communication, ensures engagements under his leadership exceed the expectations of external and internal stakeholders.

Hugh has led numerous engagements in local and global environments including Receiverships, Liquidations, Voluntary Administrations, Deeds of Company Arrangements, Schemes of Arrangement, Investigative Accountants Reports and Expert Reports. His solutions approach has been a critical success factor driving the outcomes in many of these engagements.

Rui has hands-on experience working in accounting departments in retail, hospitality and logistic industries. She is competent in collecting and dealing with financial and non-financial data to analyse business performance.

In addition to having an eye to detail, Rui also pays attention to the macro environment. She conducted in-depth industrial researches in the spaces of fashion retail, fuel retail as well as gift card industry.

Rui engages in both formal and informal appointments. She is heavily involved in data analysis, financial modelling, report writing, dividend distribution, circulars preparation and corresponding with key stakeholders.

Prior to working in turnaround and reconstruction, Mirzan was a Corporate Banking Executive at a Big 4 Bank where he led, sourced and executed transactions in the “Mid Market” space.

Nirvan Dave

Nirvan develops his experience through various corporate formal and informal insolvency appointments.

He has a passion for business analysis from a commercial standpoint and understands the key drivers. He draws on his previous experience in internal controls and finance and likes to understand what makes a business tick.

Nirvan approaches challenges with a problem-solving mindset. He is an associate member of CPA Australia and strives to develop his knowledge base.

Nirvan’s main areas of focus include the investigation into companies, analysis, financial modelling, preparation of statutory documentation and reports, and correspondence with key stakeholders.

Max Joined Olvera in June 2021 as a full-time analyst. He has completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree at Sydney University, majoring in Management.

Max is interested in working with businesses to improve performance through strategy, management, and operations and has worked across the property, construction, and manufacturing industries, as well as financial services and the not-for-profit and public sector.

Ivana joined Olvera in March 2022 as an Analyst. She is driven and motivated and holds qualifications in Commerce, majoring in accounting and international business from the University of New South Wales.

Throughout her career, she has developed valuable professional skills including managing accounts payable and receivables, reconciliations, cash flow management and statutory reporting. During this time, she has also further enhanced her interpersonal and adaptability skills.

Ava joined Olvera as Marketing Manager in April 2022. She is passionate about all things marketing and loves using marketing data as a tool for creativity. She is also currently pursuing her Master's degree in Law specialising in International Trade and Commerce at Macquarie University.

Ava is the Marketing Manager at Olvera and has joined the firm in April 2022. She is a passionate, vibrant and results-oriented marketing professional with qualifications and experience in B2B marketing, business development and international business. Ava has a creative eye and enjoys bringing life to the mundane and approaching things differently. In particular, Ava's skillsets and experience expand across multi-channel marketing and market research. She is also currently pursuing her Master's degree in Law specialising in International Trade and Commerce at Macquarie University.
